Ancestry Update:

Records were added to the Queensland, Australia, World War I Soldier Portraits, 1914-1918 collection on Ancestry last week.

The records have been made available through the State Library of Queensland and are a collection of portraits of soldiers from Queensland, Australia, who served during World War I and had their portraits taken and published in The Queenslander newspaper.

The images can be searched or browsed. On browsing, there appears to be 28,289 images.
