I’m starting to notice more and more non-traditional genealogical record sets being added to the subscription websites. Perhaps they’ve always been there but I just haven’t paid much attention to them. As they’ve started to capture my attention, I’ve found myself just perusing them to see the information they include. For those of you who have found ancestors up in these record sets, it must be a real moment of excitement to find your family member somewhere you didn’t expect.
I thought I would begin to highlight them when I see them pop up and even if I don’t have someone in their pages, it’s fun to take a look at the fascinating information that these non-traditional genealogical record sets offer.
In the next post, I’m going to share with you the record set, US, Life Saving Medals Awarded, 1876-1944.
