My wrap up for the week is a lot shorter than usual as I’ve been away from blogging for a bit. But here goes anyway…
Here is a snapshot of some of the blogs I’ve enjoyed this week:
- How to Avoid Genealogy Overwhelm on Amy Johnson Crow’s blog: http://www.amyjohnsoncrow.com/2016/08/02/avoid-genealogy-overwhelm/
- Search guide: Finding your criminal ancestors on the Findmypast blog: https://blog.findmypast.com/search-guide-finding-your-criminal-ancestors-1950468567.html
- Family Tree Magazine has published its annual 101 Best Websites for 2016. See the list here: http://www.familytreemagazine.com/article/101-best-websites-2016
- http://www.geneamusings.com/2016/01/thinking-about-my-descendancy-research.html. This blog post is quite a few months old but is something I’m interested in as I’ve recently had my DNA tested and have lots of 4th-6th cousins appearing.
In other news, Season 8 of the Australian version of Who Do You Think You Are? announced their line up this week. The celebrities who delve into their past are: Peter Garrett, Delta Goodrem, Rachel Griffiths Julia Morris, Mal Meninga, Jane Turner, Shane Jacobson and John Newcombe. Who Do You Think You Are? returns to SBS on 13 September 2016.
That’s it for this week.
Happy researching!
